ABOUT JERSEY FLYERS AQUATIC CLUB
Jersey Flyers Aquatic Club (JFAC) was founded in June 2010 by head coach, Ruben Sembrano. He began coaching JFAC with only 30 swimmers including his three kids, Joshua, Kim, and Rebecca. Despite having a small team, Ruben treated all 30 swimmers as his own kids and opened doors to various opportunities. In less than a year of founding the team, 2 swimmers (1F, 1M) qualified for the 2011 North Region Speedo Championship Sectional Meet and later that year, 12 swimmers (8F, 4M) swam at the 2011 LC Eastern Zones Age Group Championships. By 2012, JFAC had more swimmers and qualifications: 14 swimmers (4F, 10M) qualified and swam at the North Region Speedo Championship Sectional Meet.
